The machinery equipment list of Waterpoint Farms counts 45 units and is mostly "green" (John Deere) with an insured value over $500,000.
Seven large trucks and a pick-up take care of the operational logistics of the farm. Five John Deere tractors, one Deutz and a Belarus lead the list of impressive machinery. Harvesting is done with a 1992 John Deere SP 5720 self-propelled Forage Harvester, itself valued at over $70,000. All farm equipment has always been stored in two large machine buildings, and has been professionally maintained and updated in a heated repair bay.
The state-of-the-art machinery allows for economical and speedy farm operations, the secret to New York's Dairy Farm fame.
Plowing, tilling, planting, seeding, cutting and foraging is done with the farm-owned new or like-new equipment in a uniquely developed process tailored to Waterpoint Farms.
