Advice about the Old Masters

Johannes Neckermann

Johannes Neckermann received fine arts and restoration training from Dr. Rolf Grosse, Berlin/Frankfurt and Prof. Dr. Erich Herzog, Kassel. His involvement internationally in Old Master Paintings dates back to 1956, when he purchased his first painting, which turned out to be an important Venetian Old Master, for less than Five Dollars. In the highly complex field of fine arts, Johannes Neckermann is heralded as having a good hand in scouting the undiscovered.

Since over 20 years, Johannes Neckermann operates a gallery with a large inventory of Old Master Paintings, including the world's largest collection of works by the 19th Century painter family Rüdisühli of Munich and Basel.
